About Us
Cochrane Home Treasures, run by the non-profit Treasures for your Home Society, first opened its doors in November 2002. The society’s mission in running the store is to provide the local community with gently used second-hand home goods while turning profits into a funding resource for local community initiatives and organizations.
Shopping
New items arrive daily! Shop our rotating 30%–70% off discounts based on the colour of the tag, plus enjoy 50% off storewide on Sale Saturdays, held on the third Saturday of every month. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for details on current discounts, special promotions, and more!
Donating
Without generous donations for our generous community and surrounding area, we would not be able to accomplish what we do. Please check our donation page for details on what we can accept and when you can bring in your items.
How we help the community
Cochrane Home Treasures is proud to give back to the community in many meaningful ways. We support local charities and community initiatives, provide free family movie and swim nights, and help make recreation and community experiences more accessible to local families. By giving donated items a second life, we also reduce waste and keep usable goods out of the landfill.
Every donation, purchase, and volunteer hour helps us create positive change and build a stronger, more connected, and sustainable Cochrane.

Our Impact
Cochrane Home Treasures is a local non-profit thrift store dedicated to making a positive difference in our community. Through donations, affordable shopping, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships with local organizations, we help keep Cochrane strong and connected while giving new life to gently used goods.
In the last five years alone, we have returned more than $1 million to local charities, organizations, and community initiatives, supporting programs and projects that make a meaningful difference for individuals and families throughout Cochrane and the surrounding area. We are proud to be more than a thrift store—we are a community resource and a way for everyone to give back.
